ISSUE #16158643. has NOT been fixed and I took this picture yesterday; I mentioned this problem to Rachel Kerz City Council this evening at our homeowner association meeting (MMSRPNA 03/15/24) and she said "they would look into it"; it is incredible that this message passed through at least 5 people and divisions to finally come to me to say it was fixed and it wasn't; I expect you send me the name of the person in charge and a direct message to me with an explanation on this issue; thank you.

180 Lucas Park Dr San Rafael, California, 94903 - San Rafael

The San Rafael city maintained open space sidewalk between 142 and 180 Lucas Park Drive, San Rafael is overgrown with weeds and other vegetation.
The sidewalk is only partially passible and presents a safety hazard.

Note: the goats did a good job eating most of the vegetation (fire hazard), buts there's cleanup work left = Public Works.

Was riding recently on Lucas Valley going east after las gallinas towards freeway. LOVE the newish bike lane(s) with the buffer and green merge paint Makes it MUCH safer feeling.
Was wondering what to do when hit freeway. Gets very tight going under freeway.
Two thoughts: can the pedestrian paths on either side be set up to funnel bikes off LV Road?
Second it’s really confusing as what to do at the traffic light on east side of freeway.
You have to cross over into the exit ramp lane that exits freeway to merge onto LV Road ( where the park n ride is)
Drivers and bikers appear confused as to who gets right of way.

Thanks again for your help. Love seeing so many more people out and about riding!
    Have a happy day!

  • Canyon Oak Dr San Rafael, CA, 94903, USA - San Rafael
There is no "San Rafael City Limit" sign on the westside of Miller Creek Rd right on the San Rafael City Limits before the traffic signal intersection of Miller Creek Rd and Lucas Valley Rd. Drivers are not seeing the name of the city and that is not good. This sign needs to be installed so that it looks a lot better. PLEASE INSTALL THE CITY LIMIT SIGN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! Thank You.

  • 100-200 Lucas Park Dr San Rafael, CA, 94903, USA - San Rafael
The resident at 167 Lucas Park Drive expressed concerns about the "groundwater" and drainage of water on the east side of the roadway on the 100-200 block of Lucas Park Dr. He said he has reported this issue to the City before. It appears that there is an outlet in the curb near 142 Lucas Park Dr where most of the water is coming from.
