Someone hit the garage between B and C over the holiday

Someone has been installing landscaping along third Street in front of these apartment buildings. They are watering the new landscaping, but the hose connection is completely faulty, and all the water is running into the street.

The trees in front of the new emergency building on Fifth Street have been "pruned" by someone who has no idea how to prune a tree. I realize in the grand scheme of things that this is a very small complaint; however, I figure the taxpayers paid to have those trees put in, and the designer of the landscape chose a certain kind of tree, so to have some amateur landscaper butcher them down to a few inches of branches is really distressing. And I'll bet we taxpayers paid for that service as well.
Please hire an actual arborist or aesthetic pruner to take care of city trees. Those poor trees will need five years to simply get back to their natural shape, if they ever do.

Some jerk has decided that the alley in back of the Sea Street garage is the perfect place to paint everything. Someone has already reported graffiti on the side of the chase bank building, but now there's a new graffiti there over the new paint. There are two new spots of graffiti, and I think you already know about the side of the parklet wall outside the Garzoli gallery at 9:30 B street.
While removal of graffiti may be the responsibility of the building owner, perhaps a little prevention on your part might be in order. These are not the only crimes that go on in the C St. garage. I have seen smash and grabs, drug dealing, the random unconscious junkie, and one fellow told me that he had had three catalytic converters stolen at night out of the C St. garage. How about some security cameras?
Maybe when your patrol cars are sitting still filling out reports, they can sit still within the C St., garage or in the alley and back of it to monitor activity.

There are now two large swaths of graffiti on the B street side of the Wells Fargo bank. Wondering when those are going to get cleaned up. This is the heart Central San Rafael.

Heading north on Irwin street, approaching the onramp to 101, the overhead street signs are deteriorating, almost "melting". Very Halloween-y. See photo.

Apparently, a mature street tree on C St. was cut down. I don't know if the city do this, or if the resident of a home did this. Clearly it was buckling the sidewalk, but the solution is not to cut down the tree and, it is to fix the sidewalk.
I also understand there is some for us going on about who is going to pay for sidewalk repair. I don't know the answer to that, but I know that we can't go cutting down beautiful mature street trees which took 15 years to grow because of sidewalk has a bucket in it.
If this was in fact done without a permit, I hope that the city will go after the homeowner and penalize them for this action.

All the traffic signals on Redwood Highway (the frontage road to the east of Highway 101 ) between the Merrydale Overcrossing and Lucas Valley Road are not working at all.

There is a gravel path that goes all the way around Marin Lagoon. In the section that faces Las Gallinas Creek, and the eastern end of the Civic Center parking lot, there is flooded area adjacent to the path.
This is apparently an irrigation valve that is flooding the area. This may belong to the Marin Lagoon homeowners association, but I cannot find their contact information on the web.

The cover on the PG & E utility in the sidewalk is sunken down about 1 1/2 inches, causing a tripping hazard. In the image, note the screw that is standing up showing the depth of the horizontal offset. And yes, I just twisted my ankle on this.

This pothole is in the middle of a very large and very heavily used pedestrian walkway connecting the ferry building to the rest of the city. Potential for many twisted and broken ankles.
