Stormwater Drainage Open7 Stewart Dr San Rafael, California, 94901 - San RafaelThis relates to my previous inquiry. Unfortunately, the storm water exits the drain on El Cerrito and flows across the road surface. This can freeze in the winter (rare, but it happens) which causes a hazard to cars and pedestrians. Is there any way to direct the water into the storm drain system under the road surface? Thanks

There is a drain at the corner of El Cerrito and Stewart Dr. that allows water to go in one side and directly out the other without any connection to a storm drain. Work on the storm drains is underway in the area and I hope this location will be addressed. Thank you.
